About the agency
Are you an independent agency?
No. We're a local Allstate agency for personal lines — auto, home, renters, umbrella. Your home and auto policies are underwritten by Allstate, with claims handled through Allstate's national network. For commercial and life coverage, we work with a panel of carriers and compare across them. Retirement is brokered.
What areas do you serve?
We're based in West Chester, PA and licensed in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, and New Jersey. Most of our clients live or run businesses across the Greater Philadelphia region — but we can write coverage anywhere in our licensed states.
What languages do you speak?
English, Spanish, and Japanese. Call us in whichever you're most comfortable with.
How much does a consultation cost?
Nothing. Quotes and coverage reviews are always free. We make money on policies, not on conversations.
Personal insurance (Allstate)
Why is my home or auto rate going up?
Rates move based on a mix of carrier-wide trends (claims in your state, repair costs, weather events) and personal factors (claims history, new drivers, credit, coverage changes). If your renewal jumped, call us — we'll walk through every line and look for discounts you may now qualify for.
Do I need flood insurance?
If you're in a FEMA flood zone, your mortgage may require it. Even outside flood zones, a surprising number of West Chester area claims come from heavy rain, sump-pump failures, and water-table backups — which standard homeowners doesn't cover. We can write flood and water-backup coverage as add-ons.
What is an umbrella policy and do I need one?
An umbrella sits on top of your auto and home liability and adds another $1M–$5M of coverage. If you own anything worth protecting — home equity, savings, future earnings — it's usually the cheapest peace-of-mind on the menu. Most clients pay $200–$400/year for $1M.
Can I bundle my home and auto?
Yes — and you usually should. Bundling typically saves 10–25% across both policies, and it simplifies claims when one event affects both (a tree falling on the car *and* the house, for example).
Commercial & life
Do you handle commercial insurance?
Yes. We compare a panel of commercial carriers for BOP, general liability, commercial auto, workers' comp, and commercial property. We work with contractors, restaurants, retail, professional services, real estate, and nonprofits in particular.
What's the difference between term and whole life?
Term life is pure death benefit for a set period (10/20/30 years) — cheap, simple, no cash value. Whole life is permanent coverage with guaranteed cash-value growth — more expensive, but it doesn't expire and the cash value compounds tax-deferred. Most families lean term while the kids are young and the mortgage is big.
Why isn't my Allstate life policy the only option you offer?
On life insurance, we compare across multiple carriers. Health, age, lifestyle, and policy structure mean the best price for one person can be a different carrier than the best for another. We pull quotes side-by-side and explain the trade-offs.

How do I file a claim?
For Allstate personal lines, file online at claims.allstate.com, on the Allstate mobile app, or call Allstate's 24/7 claims line. For commercial and life, call us directly at (610) 687-2103 and we'll walk you through the carrier's process.
Can I make changes to my policy outside business hours?
For Allstate personal lines, yes — log into MyAccount at allstate.com to update vehicles, drivers, coverages, or pay bills 24/7. For anything you'd rather a human handle, leave us a message and we'll get back to you the next business morning.
